Communication is key in our society and it is very important to inform one another when needed. All communication was done through calling, texting, and email. Every week I was able to access my schedule through my Google Calendar. My mentor was able to have in the calendar which told us who would be working at what times. I was always informed of events going on and was never out of the loop. That definitely says something.
It was helpful to know also what the plan for the day was first thing in the morning or when I would get there. Knowing what was going on each day was very important. I have had been in organizations where the communication was not the best. In cases were communication is not there it can really put your performance down. When communication is effective, it tends to encourage better performance and job satisfaction. People understand their jobs better and feel more involved in them. It is always a pleasure working with a group of individuals that communicate effectively.
